This 1968 Triumph TR250 was reportedly sold new in Southern California, where it spent time before being moved to Connecticut in 1980 and subsequently acquired by the current owner in 1983. Work in 1992 consisted of a repaint in red along with replacement black upholstery, carpets, and door panels. A 2.5-liter inline-six delivers power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, and a replacement black soft top is fitted along with chrome knock-off wire wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a wood dash panel, and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. Work since 2020 has reportedly included overhauling the carburetors and replacing the fuel pump, alternator, clutch, coolant hoses, brake wear components, dampers, heater control valve, and turn signal switch. This TR250 is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with spare parts, a tool kit, a black top boot and tonneau cover, a copy of the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
