This 1971 Yamaha DT1 Enduro 250 is said to have spent 35 years in storage before being acquired by its current owner in 2018. Recommissioning work at that time included overhauling the 246cc two-stroke single and replacing the tires, battery, fork seals and gaskets, air filter, fuel line, and air box boot. The bike is finished in metallic orange with black and chrome badges and white pinstripes. Equipment includes a five-speed transmission, a two-up seat, Autolube oil injection, a cross-braced handlebar, a Mikuni carburetor, a kick starter, street lighting, silver fenders, and a side stand. This DT1 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its current owner with a seat extension, a tool kit, a blue California license plate, recent service records, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

Wire-spoke chrome wheels measuring 19″ up front and 18″ out back were mounted with knobby tires under current ownership. Braking is handled by drums at both ends. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with replacement seals and gaskets as well as dual adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm. The seller notes corrosion on the wheel spokes.

The 246cc two-stroke single was overhauled in 2018 by Performance Cycle in Diamond Springs, California, with cylinder honing and a replacement rod kit as well as an oil seal set, top rod bearing, rings, main bearings, and gaskets. Equipment includes a Mikuni carburetor, Autolube oil injection, a kick starter, and a high-mount expansion-chamber exhaust with a polished heat guard. The battery, air filter, fuel line, and air box boot were replaced in 2018.
